World Environment Day 2021

In a world-first and biggest event of its kind for endangered species on World Environment Day 2021, the SwitchOn Telethon is going global, raising awareness for critically endangered species and taking action to support the organisations who are at the frontline of conserving wildlife globally. Over 100 musicians, storytellers, wildlife experts, keynote speakers, environmentalists and Grammy® Award winning artists from all across the globe are sharing their positive messages, stories and songs in celebration of our beautiful planet. It's the only one we have, so let's take good care!

SwitchOn is the acronym for Students With Initiative To Create Humanitarian Outcome Now. The SwitchOn Global Youth Awards acknowledge young people who are making a positive impact in their local and global communities. Nominations will open in August 2021. The SwitchOn ‘Small Seeds, Big Impact’ Grants are a new initiative that will provide micro grants and mentoring for young people to expand their innovative projects to make an even greater impact in their local communities, especially in developing countries.
